YBR Warehouse Pastry and Coffee sits along Tobias Fornier - Anini-y Road in San Jose de Buenavista, offering a relaxed cafe setting that clearly resonates with locals looking for a casual hangout or a friendly catch-up spot. The atmosphere is comfortable, without the polish of fine dining but with a definite warmth coming from the kitchen crew and front-of-house staff who keep the pace steady despite the lack of full table service.

This cafe feels like a place where friends and couples alike come to linger over coffee and share plates designed to please across different tastes. Their menu strikes a balance between familiar comfort food and bakery items that carry a local flair—think chicken and chips that fill you up without fuss, alongside baked macaroni and cheese, and inventive treats like mini breads topped with sesame and nori. Pastry options vary in quality from visit to visit, with the ube tres leches often recommended, while the carrot cake can be a gamble on freshness.

Locals tend to appreciate the coffee offerings in particular, as the hazelnut and Spanish latte come highly rated, and the caramel frappe provides a sweet, cool companion for warmer afternoons. The overall vibe leans casual — not a spot to rush through a meal but a place for relaxed conversations, making it popular for dates or friendly meetups. Seating is comfortable enough for small groups, and parking availability makes it convenient for those driving in from nearby areas.

YBR Warehouse sees more traction during daytime and early evenings, with some wishing for longer weekend hours to extend those laid-back moments. The staff’s courteous approach and attention to providing service water without being prompted contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, reinforcing that this cafe prioritizes making visitors feel at ease.

In summary, if you’re visiting San Jose de Buenavista and want a down-to-earth spot for well-portioned meals suitable for sharing, paired with solid coffee choices and a no-frills yet warm environment, YBR Warehouse Pastry and Coffee fits that role well. It suits locals looking for an accessible daily cafe experience and travelers who enjoy observing the rhythms of town life while enjoying good food and friendly faces.

Great food and coffee, perfect spot for dates or meeting with friends. Their serving size is good for sharing! Really good value for money. Parking is available, i just hope they extend their hours to 10 during weekends. I like their carrot cake(though hit and miss, sometimes its really good while there are times when it's dry)also the ube tres leches(really good).

The pasta and all the breads are absolutely amazing. I just recently tried the mini floss bread with sesame seeds and nori. I regret not buying 3 more packs. Super amazing food. Kudos to Manag Yeyen and her crew. Absolute masters of the kitchen!

Chicken and vegie wrap 4/5 (i wish it had more vegies) Pasta el adobo 4/5 (i was expecting a different kind of adobo) Yema cake 3/5 Spanish latte 5/5 This cafe is highly recommended! Staff are very courteous and you will see they are doing their best to serve as efficiently as possible. Value for money, definitely! They provide service water without having to ask for it and even if you have drinks ordered (i find this very rare).

The salad was good. Lumpia was average. Chiffon-based cakes were okay but not exceptional. They have an indoor (with a/c) and an outdoor seating (fan). I don’t know why I was not given any glass for the drink although I requested for it. No plate for the cake either. I decided to eat from cake’s cardboard using the serving knife. Okay lang, Girl Scout naman tayo. We ordered 2 whole cakes for our group.

You must try their pastries. Cakes are prices competitively and tastes so good. It has seating for a few people inside. The place is not crowded most of the time. There is parking space in front of the coffee shop. If you have difficulty finding this place, it’s because it is not located immediately roadside. You need to get inside the compound of YBR gas trading. Personnel are kind and helpful.
